PacWest is hiring moving specialists to power our residential and commercial relocation services. Our ideal candidate is reliable, hardworking, durable, and a good team member. You are able to lift 75 pounds and enjoy work that involves a little bit of hustle and generous cash tips for a job well done. This position is offered as both a full-time and part-time position. No experience necessary.

Moving specialists earn pay raises every 6 months. We also offer a clearly-defined path of promotion to our box truck driver position which includes a significant pay increase.

Here is what you must have
  • Able to lift up to 75 pounds on a routine basis
  • Reliable personal transportation
  • Valid driver license (CDL not required)
  • Valid Social Security #
  • Good English skills
It would be great if you had this
  • Professional household moving or office relocation experience
  • Warehouse experience
  • Able to occasionally fulfill a multi-day, long-distance appointment
You will be working on things like this
  • Interact with residential and commercial moving customers 
  • Wrap and protect furniture according to best practices
  • Load and unload household goods and office equipment
  • Assemble and disassemble modular furniture
  • Assist drivers to maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
  • Keep trucks stocked with required equipment and supplies
  • Pressure wash truck exterior and organize equipment in truck bed

  • Must have a valid driver’s license and Social Security #
  • Must have a smartphone with an unlimited data plan
  • Must pass a background check and drug screening (excludes cannabis)
  • You must live in the Greater Portland area
  • Must have a bank account for direct deposits
