PacWest is hiring local box truck drivers to power our residential and commercial relocation services. Our ideal candidate has experience driving 26’ box trucks and a history of safe driving. We’re looking for someone who is mature, reliable and takes the responsibility of driving a commercial vehicle seriously. This position is available to both male and female drivers.

Box truck drivers are the backbone of our company. We appreciate our drivers and strive to create a great work experience for them.

Travel Opportunities

For drivers that opt-in, take advantage of long-distance driving appointments and explore the Western US on the company dime. We pay for comfortable overnight lodging, meals and entertainment for long-distance moves.

• 5 days/week starting at 7:30 am
• 6-8 hours a day

• Box truck driver safety training
• Moving and packing training
• Customer service training

• At least one (1) year experience driving a box truck
• Able to lift up 50 - 75 lbs
• Able to assist with loading and unloading
• Clean driving record for 3 years
• Reliable personal transportation
• Valid driver license (CDL not required)
• Valid Social Security #
• Speak English well

• Professional household moving or office relocation experience
• Able to occasionally fulfill a multi-day, long-distance appointment
• CDL license any type (current or expired)

• Transporting cargo between customer locations
• Plan routes and meet delivery schedules
• Data input into our automated system for each stage of the loading and unloading process
• Interacting with customers
• Loading and unloading household goods
• Packing and protection-wrapping household goods
• Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
• Fulfilling local furniture deliveries
• Assess and verify work orders
• Keep trucks stocked with required equipment and supplies
• Comply with driving rules, regulations (size, weight, route designations, and parking) and company driving safety policies

• Must have a smartphone with an unlimited data plan
• Must pass a background check and drug screening (excludes cannabis)
• You must live with 25 miles of a PacWest local branch
• Must have a bank account for direct deposits
